American High School Food Share Program Expands Throughout FUSD

In February 2017, we featured American High School's Food Share program collecting unopened lunch items for use by other students, or to donate to local food banks. One of the goals of the program was expansion to other FUSD schools. Thanks to AHS students, led by the Science & Eco Club, and by StopWaste, that goal became a reality last week as collection bins were assembled and delivered throughout the District. Thank you to everyone involved in this great project to reduce food waste.
