Negotiations Update - Salary Proposals

FUDTA proposed the following salary proposal on December 6, 2019:

2020 - 2021 COLA + 3.00%

2021 - 2022 COLA + 2%

2022 - 2023 COLA + 2%

2023 - 2024 COLA + 2%


FUSD countered with the following salary proposal on January 22, 2020:

2020 - 2021    .56% ongoing

2021 - 2022     1% ongoing 


FUDTA proposed the following salary proposal on January 27, 2020:

2020 - 2021 COLA + 3.00%

2021 - 2022 COLA + 2%

2022 - 2023 COLA + 1% ongoing; 1% one time

2023 - 2024 COLA + 1% ongoing; 1% one time


FUSD countered with the following salary proposal on February 19, 2020:

Special Education stipend

FUSD makes the following proposal to attract and retain highly qualified teachers starting July 1, 2020 for the 2020 - 2021 school year only:

  • $5,000 stipend to Special Education certificated new hires

Years of Experience

FUSD makes the following proposal to attract and retain highly qualified teachers starting July 1, 2020:

  • A new unit member shall be placed on the salary schedule according to the number of years of previous school experience up to and including ten (10) years effective July 1, 2020.

Salary

FUSD makes the following salary proposal:

2020 - 2021       .56% ongoing

2021 - 2022       1% ongoing

Note: A tentative agreement on school calendar has been signed and ratification would result in the unit members' work year being reduced by one (1) day (Staff Development Day) with no resulting decrease in salary for the 2021 - 2022 and 2022 - 2023 school years.  This is equivalent to a compensation increase of .53% per year for the 2021 - 2022 and 2022 - 2023 school years
