NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PROPOSED ADOPTION OF A SCHOOL FACILITIES NEEDS ANALYSIS AND THE ESTABLISHMENT/ADOPTION OF AN ALTERNATIVE FACILITY FEE (LEVEL 2/LEVEL 3 FEE) PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTIONS 65995.5 - 65995.7

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Governing Board of the Fremont Unified School District will consider input from the public on the proposed adoption of a School Facilities Needs Analysis (“SFNA”) for the District and the establishment and adoption of an adjusted Alternative School Facility Fee pursuant to Government Code sections 65995.5 through 65995.7 (“Level 2/Level 3 Fee”) on residential construction. The adoption of the SFNA and the establishment of the Level 2/Level 3 Fee are necessary to fund the construction of school facilities necessary to maintain current levels of educational services in the District and to accommodate growth due to development.

 

Members of the public are invited to comment in writing, on or before April 9, 2019, or appear in person at the hearing on April 10, 2019, beginning at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the following location:

Materials regarding the SFNA and the Level 2/Level 3 Fee are on file and are available for public review Monday–Friday, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., at the District Office, 4210 Technology Drive, Fremont, CA 94538, or online via the District’s website (www.fremont.k12.ca.us). Any person challenging the adoption of the SFNA or the establishment of the Level 2/Level 3 Fee in court of competent jurisdiction after the conclusion of the public hearing may be limited to only those issues raised at the hearing or in correspondence delivered to the school district prior to the hearing.
