Welcome to the new school year! I am very excited to be part of the the Horner community. This is my 6th year as an FUSD administrator. My goal this year is to ensure a safe, challenging learning environment.
My background in secondary education includes special education teacher and extended school year principal. I earned my B.A. in liberal studies from Cal State East Bay and my teaching credential from National University. I earned my Masters Degree in science from National University. I have been an educator since 2002.
I joined FUSD in 2007 as a special day class teacher at American High School. I transitioned to Thornton Junior High as an assistant principal and joined Horner in 2016. I feel that students need to be challenged in order to succeed in the future. I strive to create a safe and challenging learning environment for all students at Horner. Horner teachers and staff have created a learning community that meets the needs of all students. My goal is to help students transition successfully to high school and beyond.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Looking forward to a great year!
