COVID-19 Overview
Health Screeners
Parents/Guardians must review the student health screener prior to a student entering FUSD facilities, events or District-operated vehicles.
Staff must review the staff health screener prior to entering FUSD facilities, events or District-operated vehicles.
Stay Home While Sick
Parents/Guardians of a student who is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or who has a positive result/diagnosis should report their student's absence to their student’s school office.

Staff should report absences for symptoms and/or positive test results to their supervisor.

If you report a positive test result, you will be contacted by FUSD personnel with more information about returning to school/work.
Masks
Masks are strongly recommended indoors, and are available in school front offices.
Staff are required to wear masks ONLY in the following situations:
- For 10 days following exposure*
- Through day 10 if returning early from isolation following a COVID-19 infection*
- If their worksite is designated as in an outbreak by Alameda County Public Health Department*
*Employees will receive direction through FUSD personnel if they are identified as a close contact, if they report a positive test result, or if their worksite is in an outbreak
Testing is Available
FUSD provides testing opportunities to staff and students.
