Which FUSD schools did you attend and when?
Azevada Elementary, Centerville Junior High, Horner Junior High and American High School (Class of 2006).
Did you go on to college?
Yes – Ohlone and Chabot College.
What are you doing now?
I currently work for the Fremont Unified School District as a Sub Campus Supervisor. I have been on the job since October 2015. I love my job and all of my coworkers are very friendly and respectful.
How did your time with FUSD help prepare you for your career?
When I was a junior at American High School, I decided to start thinking about my future. In 2006, I took a course at the Fremont Police Department where citizens are taught the basics of Police work. The training and experience I received prepared me to protect and serve my community proudly.
Who are some of the teachers/staff who had the greatest influence on you?
My favorite teacher was my music teacher, Paul Lorigan. He inspired me to be part of his Beginner/Advanced Choirs and under his leadership, won several awards. Mr. Lorigan really cares about his students and is an inspiration to all of his students both past & present
What advice do you have for current students about how to best take advantage of their FUSD experience?
The best advice I can give to anyone is to work hard. When things get difficult, never give up and always try to the best of your ability to be successful. You can do anything if you just put your mind to it.

I'm the owner of DJ Alex Reyes Entertainment based in Fremont and have been in business since 2001. I provide professional Mobile DJ Services all over the Bay Area & Beyond.
