    The Assessment & Accountability Department ​is one of the departments in Instructional Services

    Assessment & Accountability is a collaborative team which supports the district by providing reliable, visually-friendly data in a timely manner to answer PLC question 2, “How will we know when each student has learned it?”

    Our high standards, focus on accurate data, and consistent customer service advance the Instructional Services division mission to empower management to lead, teachers to engage, and students to succeed.

    Assessment and Accountability handles student achievement testing required by the state.  Among these tests are the following:


    SBAC (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium)
    English Language Arts and Math 


    ~ State mandated test for grades 3-8 and 11

    CAST (California Science Test)
    ~ State mandated test for grades 5, 8, and 12

    State Physical Fitness Testing

    ~ State mandated test for grades 5, 7, and 9
