Entering the 4th week of the school year, I am excited as we prepare for the season. Our numbers for workouts and open gyms have been tremendous. We have a good hard working group of players this year. I am hoping that they keep this commitment as I know it will pay off when we get to the games. So far, they have outworked any team I have coached here at Kennedy.

 

This Saturday, we have the first of many fundraisers as we raise money to pay for the many expenses that we will have throughout the season. On Saturday, the 26th from 9:00-3:00, we will be holding a car wash. The car wash is free, but we will be glad to take donations. We are hoping to top a previous high of $800. Bring those dirty cars and have your favorite player or players clean it up.

 

As we enter into one of my favorite seasons of the year, it brings the excitement of football. It is a good time to get together with friends to watch your favorite teams, high school, college, or pro. It is always a good time at our high school games as we support and root for the classmates and teammates of our players. Our football team has provided us with some exciting games so far. Saturday evening, they will be taking on DeAnza High School at 7:00 at Tak Stadium. Come support our team and cheer them on to victory.

 

A quick reminder to all players to start scheduling doctor's appointments for physicals as they will not be able to practice without them.
