16 eBeam interactive projection units (similar to Smartboards).

16 units @ 899.95 ea = $14,399.20

Installation and training.  This would include the installation and management of the software on all 92 teacher computers.  It would also include teacher training for how to set-up and best use the units.

Necessary supplies (i.e. all cables, mounts and locks.)

The 16 eBeam units will be distributed to the departments (numbers will be dependent on the size of the department).  Since the units are portable, they will be able to be shared.

The projected use of the units is to support student learning through interaction and support with the material.  Students will be able to demonstrate problems, write essays, interact with and/or present multimedia lessons.  This will allow stronger students to demonstrate and weaker students to be guided, interactively by the teacher.  Examples, lessons, interactions can then be recorded and put on teacher websites for students to further utilize.
