ENDLESS SUNRISE MUSIC is a community and school-serving music group that provides an opportunity for teenagers, young adults and youth to gain performance experience and community service hours. We serve senior, hospital and child education communities around the Tri-City area. We are currently auditioning for new members. GIRL’S TENNIS TRYOUTS: August 19-23 from 3:30 – 5:00 PM at MSJ Park courts

SENIORS: GET YOUR GRAD NITE TICKETS BEFORE THE SCHOOL YEAR ENDS! Don’t miss this final chance PARTY with your 2013 Classmates. Tickets available for $180. Forms with payment MUST be turned into the office no later than Wednesday, June 19^th. Forms available at Mrs. Walvick’s desk. Onsite tickets will be $200 at the door.

SENIORS: All seniors who are attending Grad Nite. Please be sure to pick up your one of a kind Grad Nite t shirt during Senior Check-out on Wednesday June 19^th. Come to the tables set between the B wing and the office between 12:15 and 3:00 PM. You will need to present an ID to pick up your shirt. You may also drop off your collage for the museum wall

SENIORS: IF YOUR NAME IS ON THE DEBT LIST AND YOU DO NOT CLEAR IT SOON, you will NOT walk at graduation. Return ALL your books, sports supplies so there will not be a debt. If you are on the list, take care of it now.

STUDENTS ARE NOT TO LEAVE CAMPUS WITHOUT AN OFF GROUNDS PASS. See your attendance clerk before leaving campus and after you return. Should there be an emergency on campus, we need to know you are safely here.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Dress code requirements are in effect as the weather gets warmer. For example, shorts and skirts are to be mid thigh and all shirts and tops must have sleeves (i.e. no tank tops or sleeveless tops.) Any hats worn on campus must say MSJHS or they will be collected. The parking lot is off limits during the school day especially during breaks and students may not linger in their cars during lunch.

CAREER CENTER

WORK PERMITS ARE READY FOR PICK-UP. IF YOU REQUESTED ONE PLEASE GO TO THE CAREER CENTER.

WORK PERMITS: The Career Center will close for the summer end of the day on Wednesday, June 19. The last day to submit a Work Permit Request at MSJ is Wed, June 19. Completed Work Permits may be picked up in the Administration Office through June 27. Through Summer School, June 27 - August 7, Asiya Patel will process work permit requests at Irvington High School/510-656-5711. From August 8 – August 15 work permits will be processed at the district office from 8:00-2:30pm.

SUMMER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY WITH THE CITY OF FREMONT PARKS AND RECREATION: The Teen Leadership Academy is a unique experience where teens will learn work ethic, leadership, team work and civic engagement and more. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY WITH TRI-CITY HEALTH CENTER: A non- profit clinic in Fremont which participates in the reach out and read program. High school students are welcome to read to young children in the waiting room as they await their doctor appointment after school, on weekdays from 9:00am-4:00pm. LEGAL SUMMER INTERNSHIP: This summer, GJEL Accident Attorneys will be launching an internship program designed to give high school students an in-depth look at what it means to be a lawyer.
