My name is Amberlee Avina. I am the SHAPE Coordinator, a Physical Education teacher, Ohlone teacher and an ROP instructor at Irvington High School. I grew up in Coarsegold, CA near Yosemite National Park. I went to University of the Pacific (U.O.P.) where I received my bachelor's degree in Sport Sciences-Kinesiology & Pedagogy.  After I graduated college in 2005 I attended National University in San Jose to finish my teaching credential in Secondary Education. I 2011 I earned my Masters degree in Differentiated Instruction. I started teaching at Irvington in August, 2006 as a PE teacher and became the SHAPE coordinator in 2007.
