Summer Bridge is almost here!

Get excited! Summer Bridge is on its way, the annual fun-filled program offered by Irvington High School and its LINK Crew to help ease the transition from middle school to high school. Every year, several of Irvington’s best students and teachers volunteer a week of their time to introduce the incoming freshman class to Irvington. During Summer Bridge, enrolled students will play games, learn about Irvington’s culture, and participate in multiple workshops that focus on writing skills, critical thinking, and the rest of the School-Wide Outcomes. Our main purpose is to prepare students mentally and socially for high school, as the jump they are preparing to make is a big one! Upperclassmen already in attendance share advice and experience with the students while teachers from several departments lead activities that help students become accustomed to life at Irvington. Summer Bridge is completely free of charge to anyone interested!

When: 10:00 AM-1:00 PM August 12-18
