Principal's Message

Dear Maloney Families,

The goal of Maloney Elementary is to create an environment That provides excellent educational opportunities to all students in an atmosphere of safety and respect.

We utilize a four step sequential process to accomplish our primary goal of resilient, educated, successful individuals. Interventions, programs and activities support each step.

Step 1: Bring them in. Students and families find support services to bring them into the Maloney Family and help them to be successful.
Step 2: Keep them safe and healthy. Maloney School offers a safe and healthy environment with programs to address physical, social and emotional needs to assist learning.

Step 3: Help them learn. Maloney provides a rich curriculum and activities to help every student meet and exceed state and district academic standards,

Step 4: Send them on. Maloney students have the skills they need to be successful at the next step of their educational journey.

We recognize the valuable role parents play in meeting our goals. We encourage active parent participation, and welcome their regular assistance in our classrooms and in our school-wide activities.

Ongoing staff training helps us meet our goals. Minimum and staff development days and common planning time assist teachers in increasing their skill and effectiveness. Time is spent on curriculum development, training, and assessment of student progress, diagnosing student strengths and weaknesses, and planning instruction that assists us in meeting the needs of all students at all ability levels.
We encourage and actively seek community participation in volunteering and providing financial partnerships.
