On April 25, 2012 the Fremont Unified School District Board of Education adopted Resolution 064-1112 to approve a Parent-Teacher-Student Communication System for secondary schools. School Loop is the system selected.
The District supports the use of iParent for historical grades, standardized test scores, and discipline for grades 7-12. For grades K-12, the District uses iParent for attendance notification. Parents who have an email address on file at the school, may sign up for iParent for email attendance notifications.
The District will continue with its practice of sending progress reports to students' homes for grades pre-K to 12.
Note, we are in the process of investigating the use of School Loop and other online communication platforms for elementary schools.
