Summer 2016 Information and Frequently Asked Questions
REPORT CARDS: Second semester report cards will be mailed by the district office by the last week of June. Grade questions/corrections will be acknowledged in the fall when teachers return.
TRANSCRIPTS: Mission’s transcript office will close at noon, June 16. Seniors should follow final transcript submission instructions on the website. Please refer to flyer for detailed summer instructions.
SUMMER HOURS: August 15 - 30, office hours are 8:30am – noon & 1:30 – 3:00pm.
BACK TO SCHOOL: Back to School Night will be held on Thursday, September 8.
STUDENT REGISTRATION: Beginning August 12, call to schedule an appointment with the registrar at 657-3600, ext. 37202. REGISTRATION IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
FALL ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES: Students need a recent medical physical exam and a grade point average of 2.0 with no F’s to participate in high school athletics. Contact the Athletic Director (ext. 37104) about summer try-outs and practices. Call the Activities Director (ext. 37086) for information about clubs and other activities. Refer to the MSJHS website for more school information. Get involved!
TRANSPORTATION: High school students need to live outside the 3.5 mile radius from their school of attendance to have busing available. Every student riding the school bus is required to have a Photo ID taken at FUSD Transportation Department. Please refer to the FUSD website, transportation department for more details.
