Advisory is a great way to do several things during your day:

 

1. Create a smaller family at school and get to know people you wouldn't otherwise know. This is also a chance to get to know a teacher outside of academic time.

 

2.  Use Monday and Tuesday silent study days to finish the homework you didn't finish last night, get a jump on today's homework, read, study for tests or review what you did in class.

 

3. Use Wednesday and Thursday tutorial time to get help from teachers outside of your regular class time. Or, if you have a group project, get together to work on it !

 

4. Friday Activities are for building the Irvington team and character. Use it to get to know other students, teachers, the world and yourself a little bit better.
