Welcome to our new school year, 2012 - 2013!.
I have been an Assistant Principal at American since Sept. 2005.
I have also been an integral member of the AHS Curriculum team, introducing new classes and courses (such as Project Lead the Way, Filipino Heritage, and AVID) to AHS. I continue to coordinate all of the school's activities, produce a master calendar, which you are able to view on our website, and continue to strive our school's safety, amongst many other different responsibilities.
Before coming to American High School, I was the Assistant Principal at Taylor Middle School in Millbrae, CA for four years. And, before that, I was an assistant or vice principal in three different schools in the Vancouver, B.C. Canada area. (Past home of the 2010 Winter Olympics). I have also taught English 8 - 12, Math 8 - 11 (including Algebra and Geometry), German 9/10, and Social Studies (Early European History) 10.
When I am not working at school, you might find me jogging around Quarry Lakes with my two dogs - Kona, a black Lab, and Shooter, a white Lab, my three grand children, and/or my wife. Or, you might see me at a Sharks game, particularly when my beloved Canucks come to town. Or I could be attempting to play golf.
