It is my privilege to be the principal of Centerville Junior High. We have a fantastic student body and an incredible staff. I am in my fourth year as principal of Centerville. Prior to the last four years, I served in the capacity of vice principal here at CJHS. What a great place to be and spend everyday!

I believe that all of our students can be successful. We work very hard everyday to educate our children and help them to become better citizens. It is my belief that having high expectations for students and holding them accountable for decisions that they make builds their self-esteem and character and, will ultimately result in a better community in which we live and play.

This past year, our student body has challenged Walter's and Thornton Junior High to a test of academic achievement. We believe that we will increase our school's state test scores (API) by more points than Walter's and Thornton will increase theirs. Our students believe that we will be successful in the endeavor. There is a trophy and Centerville Pride on the line!

We always welcome parent, community and student input and suggestions about how we are doing and what we could be doing to be more effective. Feel free to contact me anytime (e-mail is my preferred method of contact) to share concerns, suggestions or praise about the school.
