The PTO provides and supports a variety of programs for our school community. Parent volunteers are the core of these committees. Your participation is essential to the success of our activities and we invite you to join in any of these programs and experience the rewards of enriching and enhancing our children's educational experience, first hand. Services for Students F.A.M.E (Fine Arts Mini-Experience) -- Docents, comprised of parent volunteers, deliver art and music lessons to students, using a set curriculum. ON HOLD Music For Minors II -- Docents, comprised of parent volunteers, deliver music lessons which include singing and playing instruments. Accelerated Reader /Parent Support-- Parents assist students in using the reading comprehension software, during school hours. Parents also assist teachers in maintaining technical access using computers in their classrooms. Science Lab (WS) /Parent Support-- Parents assist the science teacher in the lab, to prepare labs and cleanup, and helps students during labs. Want to volunteer? Room Parents -- Coordinate activities in the classrooms for special festivities. Disaster Preparedness -- Coordinates with school on disaster preparation and provides the school with necessary disaster or emergency supplies. Services for Teachers/Staff: Library -- Help librarian with book shelving, circulation, and special events, such as book fairs. Hospitality for Teachers -- Coordinate luncheons and special events for the school staff. Copy Angels School-Parent LINKs (email lists) Fundraising: Fall Stampede Run -- Our annual fundraiser. Monies collected are used to supplement our schools with better educational resources for our students. Membership drive Collecting dues and managing the member database. Corporate Fundraising & Advertising Soliciting corporate sponsorships Corporate Matching Facilitating approval and receipt of corporate matching funds from companies, and researching application processes for parent donors.
