Fundraising Programs & Events

Fundraising plays an important part towards the education of the children at Niles Elementary. Our fundraising programs raise money to provide field trip scholarships, pay for assemblies and other presentations, purchase emergency preparedness equipment, and fund other ongoing programs. Niles fundraisers have purchased many "big ticket" items such as computers for our computer lab, playground equipment and other school furnishings and educational materials.

Fundraising Programs
Fall Fundraiser	Our fall fundraiser starts towards the end of September and students are given order catalogs for wrapping paper, cookie dough and other gift items. Volunteers are needed to help process orders and distribute items to each classroom.
Online Fundraiser	Niles School fundraising efforts are possible throughout the entire year with sales made through our online store hosted by Great American Opportunities. Just click on the link to the left and you, your friends or family members anywhere can order from the online store and continue to support Niles School. Students receive credit for your online purchase contributions. School Store ID: 637959
Box Tops For Education	Box Tops for Education allows you to earn cash for Niles School by clipping Box Tops for Education coupons from hundreds of participating General Mills products. And now, you can find Box Tops on Ziploc® and Kleenex® products, too! Simply collect and submit Box Top for Education coupons in the container located on the counter top in the office.
	A cooperative fundraising effort with the Fremont Hub. Sales receipts turned in from retail stores & restaurants at the Hub provide credit toward competitive cash awards to local schools. It's easy! Just shop at the Hub and turn in your original receipts to the school office or Mr. Mikey's within 60 days of purchase date. Niles has won FIRST PLACE the last FOUR years! Let's keep it up!
	eScrip is a fundraising program where merchants contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to Niles School. Simply register any one or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for use in the program. It's fast and secure and an easy way for you to support one of Niles School's fundraising efforts. The program is nationwide so family and friends can also participate on your child's behalf. Fundraising Events
Bulldog Jog	An annual fundraiser where students get financial sponsors for running laps in the schoolyard. Volunteers help count laps, solicit prize donations, and head up the cheering section.
Book Faires	Book sales are held at the school library twice a year. Proceeds directly benefit the Niles School Library. Parents can help by purchasing books as well as volunteering to staff the sales.
Niles Antique Faire	The Niles Antique Faire and Flea Market is held annually towards the end of summer. Booth space in the front of the school is rented out to vendors for the sale of their goods on the day of the event. Proceeds go directly towards the Niles School Science program. Volunteers coordinate the sale of booth space and facilitate event parking on the blacktop.
