Checking It Out
Students in grades K-6 check out books every week with their classes. Books are due in one week. Renews must be brought to the library on the due date to be renewed. Please help your child be responsible for taking care of and returning his/her library books! Students will be billed for lost/damaged materials. Note: Please keep your school library books separate from your public library books or personal book collections. Please do NOT return Maloney library books to the public library, as this often results in a lost book!

Online Library Catalog

Students and parents may access Maloney's online library catalog at the Fremont Unified School District website: http://www.fmtusd.org under "Parents and Students - Library." Choose Maloney and write down the call numbers of books you want so you can locate them when you visit the school library. The website also has a link to the Alameda County Library website, literature lists and many other web resources.

The Accelerated Reader book list...

by reading level is available online. Please see the link on the left. Make sure to only print your students selected range; the complete report is quite long. There is also a hard copy of the list available for viewing in the school library as well as at the children's information desk at Fremont Main Public Library.

The Birthday Book Donation Program...

is a great way to celebrate your child's birthday as well as help provide library books that all the students can enjoy. Donations do not have to coincide with your child's actual birthday; they can be honored at any time! Please contact me if you would like a donation form.
