Overload Information

Overloading - Leitch

Students already enrolled here or currently overloaded to other schools have priority on the spaces available for next year both here and at Warm Springs Elementary.

If our enrollment exceeds the number of Kindergarten spaces available, we will implement the lottery system. All siblings will have priority on the spaces available for kindergarten if registered on time and all the other spots will be awarded by lottery that will take place a few days after registration starts. If we do not have space for your child we will send you, in writing (Mid-August), the information about what school your child will be overloaded to. We will send you this letter as soon as we have the information and your child will start at the overload school the first day of school.

We overload to the nearest school with availability in our attendance area. The schools in our attendance area are:

Weibel

Grimmer

Harvey Green

Hirsch

In the instance that none of these schools have space, we will overload your child to the next nearest school with space. You do not have a choice on which school your child is overloaded to. The same curriculum is taught districtwide.
