SCHOOL LOOP... Fremont Unified is implementing a new on line system for record keeping. It will be used by teachers to post class assignments, communicate with parents, record grades and other school related information. In the past you may have used "iParent" to access grades and attendance. Beginning this year, you can access the same information and much more using “School Loop.” It is even available in Spanish and Chinese! You must set up an account online at http://walters-fusd-ca.schoolloop.com/. Click on “Register Now” and follow the prompts. You need to have your student’s school ID number available. DONATION REGISTRIES are up and running! If you would like to donate materials to our classroom please visit the "Donations" page for more information. A huge THANK YOU to those of you who have already made generous contributions of supplies and funds. The California State Board of Education adopted the WORLD LANGUAGE CONTENT STANDARDS on January 7, 2009. Please click on the link to read more: PARENTS, DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL TALENT? If you would like to "donate" a talent to the Spanish classes we'd love to learn from you! Be the teacher for a day and teach us how to make tortillas, salsa dance, sing a song or tell us a story in Spanish! Please email me if you are interested! Need EXTRA PRACTICE? There are many resources you can use at home to get some extra practice with vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and more! Go to the "Links" page for help!
NO GUM AND/OR FOOD! Remember that there is no gum or food allowed in Room 14. While gum chewing may be appropriate for informal settings like at home or at the mall, it does not have a place in the classroom. Open food containers have caused pest problems in the past. The consequence for chewing gum or eating in class is a lunch detention followed by subsequent discipline as needed. |
