Fine Arts Mini-Experience (FAME)
If you came from the Leitch School website, click here when you want to return to Leitch site

FAME is a program that introduces all the students to famous artists and composers through professionally prepared lessons which are fun, informative and entertaining.  There are six different lessons taught each year for six years.  All lessons are 30 minutes (15 or art, 15 for music) and are taught by docent/parent volunteers.  Throughout your childs elementary years, they will learn about 36 different artists and their works of art and 26 composers and pieces of their music.

Volunteering for FAME
Volunteers become the docents and help present 6 different 30 minute lessons to the children throughout the school year. You do not need to know anything about art or music to teach.  We will train you and give you everything you need including lesson plans, prints, music, costumes, props and training. This is a great way for parents to participate directly in their childs are and music education. No experience is necessary. If you can read, you can teach FAME.
