Dr. Morris

The Fremont Unified School District is widely recognized as a high-performing district because of the academic success of our students. High levels of academic achievement are the product of strong parents, dedicated teachers and support staff, and an engaged and active community. With forty-two schools, and over thirty-three thousand students, we have many good-news stories to tell!

I am excited that we have begun to produce a weekly television show that is currently being broadcast on Mondays at 7:00 PM on Comcast, Channel 26. Our show is called, Community Conversations, and it is designed to provide a forum to highlight news from around the district and educate the community about what is happening in our schools. In the near future, we will also provide a website link to the show as another forum to share what is happening in our schools. Our goal is to improve communication and provide information. We’re always interested in story ideas to feature so feel free to email and let us know about the good things happening at your school. Be sure to watch Community Conversations and join us on Mondays at 7:00 PM as we continue to celebrate our community of excellent schools.

Let me close by offering my very best wishes to all members of the community as we enter this season of Thanksgiving. It is with heartfelt appreciation that I thank each and every member of the community for your efforts on behalf of the children and families of Fremont.

Sincerely,

James Morris
