-FUDTA-FUSD Agreement 2012-2015
Fremont Unified School District and the Fremont Unified District Teachers Association (FUDTA) met on Tuesday March 18, 2014, at the FUDTA office, to begin negotiations on salary and compensation. As public education receives new and additional funding for schools, the District will work collaboratively and in good faith with FUDTA to safeguard a collective bargaining agreement that respects the integrity of all employees and values their individual contributions to the academic success of all students in the District.
Yesterday’s bargaining session was productive and essential in terms of identification of respective goals, discussion on current educational endeavors, and funding sources. FUDTA presented their proposal on the increase of salaries. The District provided feedback and will provide a counter proposal at the next scheduled negotiation meeting which be held on Friday March 28, 2014, at the FUDTA office.
