Become a Member of the Measure K Citizens’ Oversight Committee
The Measure K Committee is actively looking for new members. Members may be a parent or guardian of a current FUSD student or a business/community member in the City of Fremont. Qualified applicants must be eligible to vote in the Fremont Unified School District and may not be an employee, official, vendor, contractor, or consultant of the District. Please watch or attend the Board of Education meeting on June 26, 2013. The current Measure K Committee will present its annual report of the committee’s activities for the 2012-2013 school year and a report of the revenues and expenditures of the Measure K fund. The Measure K Parcel Tax was approved the voters of Fremont in November 2010, and is in effect for a 5-year period.

Facing aging facilities in need of repair, the Fremont Unified School District Board of Education voted unanimously to place a local school improvement funding measure on the June 2014 ballot.
We are pleased to announce that the Fremont Unified School District has been approved for a grant from the Kaiser Permanente Community Benefit Program in the amount of $26,000. Sixty four community-based organizations applied for the grant and 16 were awarded.
