Background: I first came to the USA as an undergraduate student in February 1966 and graduated from Sonoma State University in 1969 (B.Sc. Mathematics). I left for the University of Portland in Oregon and studied Clinical Psychology; earned a Masters of Arts (M.A.) degree in Psychology in 1971. While teaching psychology as an adjunct professor at Portland Community College and Mt. Hood Community College, I enrolled in the Ph.D. program in Systems Science at Portland State University. I left the adjunct positions after two years and became a management analyst for the Oregon Mental Health Division for ten years. The Nigerian government recruited me in 1980 to teach psychology at Alvan Ikoku University College of Education. I held this position for 15 years, serving as the department chair. I left the position and returned to California in 1995. I joined the teaching profession at the junior high / high school level and have found a home at American High School over the last 18 years. It has been a great experience and I am proud to share my professional experience with you. I am married, have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
