Welcome to first grade! This year is going to be a fun and exciting year. It is a pleasure to have your child in my classroom. Here at Azevada we are a community dedicated to learning. We accept and understand that each child is unique and makes a contribution to the class. We will be expanding our knowledge and opening our minds to new things throughout the year. I ask that you please help me by working with your child at home, monitoring homework and communication with me regularly. With parents, family, friends, teachers and students working together, a great deal will be accomplished.
